Cuttack: A sweeper working in the casualty ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack, Odisha, claims she was raped on the hospital grounds by a supervisor.

The incident came to light after the woman recently filed a written complaint against the accused with Mangalabag police station. On May 7, the woman claimed that the supervisor sexually assaulted her.

According to sources, police have registered a case and launched a search for the accused, who has been on the run since the incident.

According to the complaint, the victim is employed by an outsourced agency at the premier healthcare facility's casualty ward. Under the guise of cleaning some rooms in a hostel, the supervisor allegedly called the woman and raped her there.
