Contractor Shot Dead In Broad Daylight In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: Around 9 a.m. on Monday, a contractor was allegedly shot dead in broad daylight in ward-6 of Barbil municipality in Odisha's Keonjhar district.
Bhola Sinha, a resident of Ward 6, has been identified as the deceased.
According to sources, the incident occurred near the Mini Tower while he was riding his two-wheeler home. Locals noticed him lying in a pool of blood and called police, who arrived quickly and rushed him to the Barbil Community Health Centre. Doctors, on the other hand, declared him dead.
An empty cartridge was also found on the scene.
While the police have yet to determine the motive for the killing, it is believed to be the result of a business rivalry. All major checkpoints have been closed, and a manhunt has been launched to find the accused who are on the run. The cops are also questioning a few locals to determine whether there are any witnesses in the case. CCTV cameras in the area are being scanned as well.
