According to sources, Bharatpur police arrived at the scene with a scientific team after being alerted by a local who heard some sounds coming from the house and recovered the body.
DCP Prateek Singh of Bhubaneswar told the media that the elderly woman was being treated here after suffering head injuries in Ganjam. She was bedridden and lived with her son and daughter-in-law.
