Headmaster dies of heart attack after hoisting national flag in Puri

Puri: Independence Day celebrations at Malleswari Project Primary School in Odisha's Puri district turned tragic on Tuesday when the headmaster collapsed shortly after hoisting the National Flag.
According to sources, after hoisting the Tricolour on the school grounds in the district's Krushnaprasad block in the morning, headmaster Prafulla Chandra Sahu complained of giddiness and collapsed unconscious on the ground.
The school staff rushed him to the Krushnaprasad Community Health Center (CHC) in critical condition. He did, however, pass away at the hospital.
While the cause of death has yet to be determined, the news of the headmaster's death has cast a pall over the area.
The incident has been investigated by police. More information is awaited.
