Today, heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are expected in one or two places across the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Cuttack, Khurda, Kalahandi, Angul, Deogarh, and Boudh.
A yellow alert has also been issued for Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Mayurbhanj.
On June 17, a severe heatwave warning was issued for Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Angul, Deogarh, and Boudh.
Heatwave conditions are also expected in one or two locations across the districts of Khurdda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, and Mayurbhanj.
On June 18, heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are expected in parts of Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sonepur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Boudh, and Bolangir.
Heat wave conditions are expected to prevail in some areas of Sonepur, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Boudh, Bargarh, Nuapada, and Balangir districts on June 19.
