Bhubaneswar: According to sources, President Droupadi Murmu will return to Odisha for a two-day visit in the last week of July.
This will be her third visit to the state since taking over as India's highest office in July 2022.
On July 26, she will be the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony of the Orissa High Court's 75th anniversary celebrations and the convocation ceremony at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) in Cuttack. She will also attend the SCB Medical College Students Union anniversary on the same day, as confirmed by letters from Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Union Ministry of Home Affairs to the college authorities.
She will then travel to Bhadrak on July 27 to attend the Diamond Jubilee of Bhadrak Autonomous College.
The President paid a visit to her in-laws' village of Pahadpur in May, where she laid a garland at the statue of her late husband, Shyam Charan Murmu. She also attended the Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanjadeo (MSCB) University's convocation in Baripada.
