Jajpur: On Tuesday, a 6-year-old boy died after allegedly receiving a 'wrong injection' from a quack in a village in the Dasarathpur area of Odisha's Jajpur district.
The incident was reported from Mugapada village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the district's Dasarathpur police station. Omm Mallick, son of Surendra Mallick, has been identified as the deceased.
According to sources, the boy, who was suffering from diarrhoea, was taken by his family to Mitu Pati's medicine store in Mandrakhand square.
