Ashwini Vaishnaw In Puri As Odisha BJP Prepares Roadmap for 2024 Elections

Puri: In order to participate in the Odisha BJP's three-day training session, which began in Puri on Tuesday with an emphasis on creating a road plan for the general election of 2024, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw travelled to the holy town of Puri on Thursday.

Sources claim that he will speak with party leaders about various developmental welfare programmes and initiatives as well as discuss the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.

Ashwini visited the Jagannath Temple and had darshan of the sibling deities before the enthusiastic reception at the training camp. According to sources, he also travelled to Birapratappur to look over public complaints.

National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santhosh will lay out the election schedule for 2024 on the final day. He would also emphasise the BJP's role in the growth of the nation.

Golak Mohapatra, a BJP politician, revealed to the media that measures are being discussed to reach out to voters and inform them about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance models at the Center. "BJD's popularity is waning, and purchasing accolades won't help it win the public's trust. The BJP is bolstering both its organisational and booth infrastructure. According to him, it will also reveal the corrupt ways in which the Naveen Patnaik-led administration has been abusing all central government programmes.

In order to win at least 120 of the 147 assembly seats in the upcoming elections in Odisha, a number of crucial issues relating to party philosophy, national security, and the accomplishments of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre were discussed on Wednesday. Suresh Pujari, a senior party official and the MP for Bargarh, professed confidence in the BJP's ability to win at least 16 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Party MP and former Union Minister Jual Oram declared on the first day that the BJD would be "thrown to the Bay of Bengal after the next election."
