CBI arrests Industrialist Mahima Mishra’s son in bribery case

Bhubaneswar: Charchit Mishra, the son of Odisha businessman Mahimananda Mishra, was detained by the CBI on Saturday in connection with the Paradip Port bribery case.
Orissa Stevedores Ltd (OSL) Director Charchit Mishra was detained after arriving at the CBI office at 4 am on Saturday.
The CBI raided Mahima Mishra's properties, including his home and workplace, in several places throughout Cuttack and Paradip two days prior to the arrest.
His sons Chandan and Charchit have also been questioned by the CBI in relation to the case.
Saroj Kumar Das, Chief Mechanical Engineer of Paradip Port, contractor Sumant Rout, KCT Group's Manager (Port Operations), Sankha Subhra Mitra, and OSL DGM (Operations), Surya Narayan Sahoo were all detained by the agency on Friday in connection with the bribery case.
