Driver burnt alive as truck catches fire after accident in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: On Wednesday, a truck driver was charred to death after his vehicle overturned and caught fire on the Rairakhol-Naktideul road near Terabeda village in Odisha's Sambalpur district.
According to sources, the driver, whose identity is unknown, became trapped in the vehicle, and locals' attempts to rescue him also failed. Firefighters arrived quickly and extinguished the flames.
Meanwhile, police have recovered the charred body and launched an investigation. A possible electrical short circuit is being blamed for the fire.
