Gujarat Human Rights Commission seeks report on Steel Glass In Worker’s Intestine

Berhampur: The event in Surat when some miscreants forcedly inserted a steel glass into the intestine of an Odisha guy through an anus has been the subject of an investigation by the Gujarat Human Rights Commission.

The man, named as Krushna Rout of Balipadar village in Buguda block of Ganjam district, filed a complaint about the event, prompting the Commission to open the probe.

Krushna mentioned in his complaint that he has lived in Surat for the past 27 years. On August 1st, he left his house to use the restroom, and when he came back, some young people who were intoxicated attacked him. He was restrained as the steel glass was placed through his rectus muscle.

Krushna added that after the glass entered his colon, he began to experience severe stomach agony. After leaving his village, he visited the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for a doctor's appointment.

The doctors were able to determine that the glass had been inserted inside the bowel after an X-Ray was performed. The steel glass was then extracted from Krushna's gut through surgery on August 19 at the MKCG Hospital.

In response to Krushna's complaint, the Commission has asked Berhampur's Baidyanathpur police station for a thorough report. According to sources, the police would obtain information about the procedure from the hospital administration and submit their report to the Gujarat Human Rights Commission.
