Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thundershowers with one or two very intense periods of rain are expected in four districts of Odisha until 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In the next three hours, the districts of Khurda (containing Bhubaneswar city), Puri, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, and Gajapati are likely to have weather activity (till 6 pm).
People have been warned to keep an eye on the weather and migrate to safer areas if needed to avoid being struck by lightning.
