Signal timing become disgusting

Voice Of Odisha - The administration implemented the proposal for making traffic system smart. It assured the people to change the disruptive traffic system. It waxed lyrical about its plan to facilitate the traffic system. It was said that the people would not wait for a long time at the traffic square. The infrastructure in the field of traffic post and signal were developed by spending crores of rupees. The manual traffic control system was removed and more than 51 traffic posts with automatic signal system were established. Awareness was made to accustom the people with smart traffic system. Though the traffic system has become smart, the problem of the people was not solved.

The people have to boil under the scorching heat to cross a traffic square. One has to wait for crossing even after his three turns. The green light turns in to red when one just starts the vehicle. One has to halt, stopping the start of the vehicle after running a few steps. You can feel this situation on the road starting from IDBI square to Master Canteen Square en route Rammandir and Sriya. Likewise the same situation will be found on the road starting from CRP square to Big Bazar square en route Stewart School Square, DAV, Power House, the world, Damana and Patia. One can face the similar situation in the capital at most of the traffic square. When you reach the traffic post, you will be suddenly hopeless. You will think how to cross the traffic square. On the other hand, not only the signal system but also no one is obeying to keep left which is the basic rule. After many warnings, the left side of a square is not being kept vacant. Many vehicles are also placed there to wait for getting signal for pass. Neither traffic police aware the people of the rule nor exemplary action is being taken in this regard. This disruptive system has suffocated the inhabitants of the capital. This discontent is brewing among the people.

The GM of BSCL says that the traffic system is being managed by two modes, one is fixed timing and the other is adoptive mode. Many traffic square of the city are being managed by adoptive mode. The camera and censor fixed with the traffic post give signal considering the situation of the traffic. The automatic system gives green light to manage the traffic of the side which is jam packed. There is no specific time for which this problem is being arised. But the fixed timing system gives a specific time limitation to each side. The people have to wait there until their turn would come. As a result, when there is found no vehicle at a side, the signal light is seen green. But there is found red signal at the side which is jam packed.
