Tarini and Sourav won the Let's SHUTTLE badminton championship
Bhubaneswar: Let's SHUTTLE, the largest corporate badminton championship ever organized by Radio Choklate and Sambad Digital, concluded today at the Railway Indoor Stadium in Mumbai.
The tournament began on February 10th. 178 teams from various corporate houses attended the championship.
Asit Tripathy, Chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) and former Chief Secretary, was the chief guest at the tournament's closing ceremony.
Sambad Group Managing Director Monica Nayyar Patnaik and Executive Director Tanaya Patnaik were in attendance, as were Evos Buildcon Managing Director Kalinga Keshari Rath, Ruchi Foodline Managing Director Sarat Kumar Sahoo, PII Managing Director Bijay Kael, and Radio Choklate and Sambad Digital marketing head Lingaraj Lenka.
The Odisha State Badminton Association managed all of the mega tournament's matches with the assistance of ASTHA School of Management.
Sourav Mohanty and Tarini Majhi of Kalpataru Agency won the under 45 category, with Asirbad Das and Avinash Swain of M/S ASSA finishing second.
In the above 45 category, Santosh Kumar Choudhury and Srimant Kumar Mishra of K1 Security won, while Manas Kumar Sethi and Trilochan Das of Paradip Port Authority finished second.
Deep Ranjan Bisoi and Deepak Kumar Beshra of the Finance department won the Government category, with Swapan Sasmal and Arbinda Pradhan of Indian Post finishing second.
Sourav Mohanty and Tarini Majhi of Kalpataru Agency won the super final.
The winners received Rs 25,000 in cash and a trophy, while the runners-up received the trophy and Rs 15,000 in cash.
