Bhanjanagar additional civil supply officer in Vigilance net
During simultaneous raids on the residence and office of Bhanjanagar Additional Civil Supplies Officer Sanjay Kumar Sahu on Wednesday, the Vigilance sleuths discovered two 3-BHK flats, a building, three plots, investments in insurance policies worth over Rs.16.86 lakh, 200 gram gold, and a Honda City car worth Rs 13.19 lakh, among other assets.

Bhubaneswar: During simultaneous raids on the residence and office of Bhanjanagar Additional Civil Supplies Officer Sanjay Kumar Sahu on Wednesday, the Vigilance sleuths discovered two 3-BHK flats, a building, three plots, investments in insurance policies worth over Rs.16.86 lakh, 200 gram gold, and a Honda City car worth Rs 13.19 lakh, among other assets.
The raids are being carried out at seven locations in the districts of Khurda, Ganjam, and Mayurbhanj, including his office room and rented house in Bhanjanagar, as well as his native village Pandarsila, on suspicion of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
ASSETS UNEARTHED
1. 3-BHK Flat No.601, 6th floor, Khetrabasi Residency and K&K-Plaza, Patia-22, Bhubaneswar.
2. 3-BHK Flat No.304, Block-G at De-Habitat-2, Shree Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
3. One building at Housing board, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
4. 3 Plots in and around, Bhubaneswar.
i) 1 plot vide No.1782, Khata No.26, Mauza-Naharkanta, Bhubaneswar.
ii) 1 plot vide No.1781, Khata No.26, Mauza-Naharkanta, Bhubaneswar.
iii) 1 plot vide No.222/625, Khata No.272/4, Mauza-Saradeipur, Khurdha.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above flats/building/plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing, an official release said.
Sahu earlier served as Assistant Civil Supply Officer of Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district, it added.
