Cuttack: The Rolex Circus will continue to perform at the Bali Jatra ground in Cuttack, Odisha, until September 4.
"The District Collector has given us permission to stage shows until September 4," Surya Mohanty, coordinator of the Rolex Circus, told the media.
The District Collector and the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) had previously directed the circus authorities to suspend their shows from September 3 to 10. They had permission to perform shows for 40 days beginning July 29.
According to sources, the decision was withdrawn in response to criticism from various quarters.
