Odisha Vigilance Nabs Ex-TDCCOL GM with ₹5.54 lakh Unaccounted Cash
Former GM of Tribal Development Cooperative Corporation Ltd (TDCCOL), G Udaygiri, Rohit Kumar Parida, was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance sleuths and seized Rs 5.54 lakh ill-gotten cash from him while boarding a bus for Bhubaneswar at Chandragiri late on Sunday.

Bhubaneswar: Former GM of Tribal Development Cooperative Corporation Ltd (TDCCOL), G Udaygiri, Rohit Kumar Parida, was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance sleuths and seized Rs 5.54 lakh ill-gotten cash from him while boarding a bus for Bhubaneswar at Chandragiri late on Sunday.
According to a Vigilance release, he is currently working on a post retirement re-engagement (contractual) basis and was unable to account for the cash satisfactorily.
Following the interception, simultaneous searches are being conducted at three locations, including a plot in Gangotrinagar, Lingipur, in Bhubaneswar, which is linked to Parida, to determine whether he had accumulated assets that were disproportionate to his known sources of income. The source of the seized cash is also being investigated, according to the statement.
