Man Killed, grandson Injured In Bee Attack in Odisha

Ramachadra Shaw, the deceased, was identified, and his ten-year-old grandson was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
According to sources, Ramachandra was cleaning his backyard while his grandson played nearby. When he set fire to a pile of dry leaves and other debris in the backyard, a swarm of bees appeared out of nowhere and launched an attack.
Both Ramachandra and his grandson were rushed to the hospital in Nilagiri after being attacked by bees. While the doctors declared the elderly man dead, the boy is being treated at the hospital.
In a similar incident, 18 people were injured when a swarm of bees attacked them in Karanja village, Kalyansinghpur block, Rayagada district, according to sources.
