Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) will hold a mass protest in front of Apollo Hospital on the 25th of this month to protest worker and public exploitation, according to District Secretary Akshay Routray during a press conference.

According to Routray, the state government gave Apollo Hospital land at a very low cost in 2007. It was launched to the public in 2010. The most important thing, however, is that a patient's kidney was removed a few days after the hospital opened. Nonetheless, a few days later, the police arrested two Apollo employees on suspicion of submitting false bills to Nalco. Those two people are currently employed at Apollo Hospital.

The employee was illegally employed without a license or permission from the Department of Labor. In the name of public service,   businesess is being conducted, the hospital's employees are being harassed, and there have been incidents such as sexual exploitation of female employees. Despite the fact that the accused was clearly guilty, no action was taken.

Routray stated that this is being carried out by two key officers of the company, Suresh Reddy and Sudhir Digikar. The general secretary of the Apollo Hospitals Employees' Union, who exposed the irregularities and corruption in Apollo, has been transferred elsewhere and the voice of the employees has been suppressed.

Akshay Routray warned that if Apollo Hospital continues these policies of labor exploitation, the Indian Labor Union will conduct a state-wide agitation and present its ideas before the Assembly.
