Puri: Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra are all set to give darshan to countless devotees on the occasion of Nabajouban Darshan, a key ritual preceding Rath Yatra, on June 19.
On the day, also known as Netra Utshab, Paramanik Darshan of the deities will be available from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., while general public darshan will be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. "A total of 7000 tickets priced at Rs 100 each will be sold for the Paramanik Darshan," said Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Das during a press conference on Thursday.
Those who have purchased Paramanik Darshan tickets will be able to enter the temple through Dakshina Swara (South Gate).
Notably, the deities have recovered completely from the fever they contracted following the grand bath on Snana Purnima on June 4. They will leave for their annual pilgrimage on June 20th, following Nabajourban Darshan.
Meanwhile, SP Vishal Singh was in charge of the Shreemandir Parikrama project, which is expected to be completed before the Rath Yatra. "The outer corridor is now open to the public," he added.
He also stated that 70 police platoons will be deployed to ensure the smooth operation of the Nabajauban Darshan of the deities.
