Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha unit president Samir Mohanty has been appointed as a Special Invitee Member in the National Executive Committee by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda.
According to a party release issued on Thursday, this appointment is effective immediately.
Mohanty was the BJP's president in Odisha from January 2020 until March 2023, when former minister Manmohan Samal succeeded him.
