Angul: In Angul district, the Odisha police Special Task Force (STF) seized more than 161 kg of ganja and arrested three people.
Sarmit Urma of Chandrapur village, Rohit Behera of Madhapur village, and Sunil Deep of Routpada were identified as the three accused.
Acting on information, a team of STF officers conducted raids in Chandrapur village, which is under the jurisdiction of the district's Athamalik police station, and seized cannabis and other incriminating materials.
The three accused were also arrested, despite the fact that the seized ganja weighed more than 161 kg. A new investigation into the case is underway.
A case has been opened at the Athamalik Police Station based on the STF report, and further investigation is underway.
