Kumuduni Sahoo (52), her son Bansidhar Sahoo (28) and her daughter Subarna Mahajan (24) were all killed.

Neighbors saw Subarna's two-year-old daughter wailing hopelessly outside their home about 11 a.m., according to sources.

The initial inquiry found that Kumudini and her two children were suffering from extreme emotional stress following the loss of her husband, Arjun Sahoo, on September 6 due to chronic illness.
