BJB College Girl Student's Death: Protest By Student Congress

Bhubaneswar: Student Congress President Yashir Nawaz and others staged a protest in front of the Odisha Assembly demanding justice for Ruchika Mohanty who committed suicide due to ragging on Saturday.
Things started to get out of hand when the students tried to enter the restricted zone near the Assembly. Police present at the spot tried to control them and stop them.
The clash between the police and the students resulted in the injury of Yashir and 10 more.
Cuttack District Congress Committee President Manas Choudhury has reacted to this and extended his support he has wished the students to get well soon.
"Odisha NSUI president Yashir Nawaz and 10 more injured during Bidhan sabha gherao programme of State NSUI on the issue of suicidal death of girl student Ruchika Mohanty of BJB autonomous college, Bhubaneswar due to ragging #nsui #AICC #RahulGandhi #NeerajKundan #YasirNawaz, Get well soon", said Manas.
