During raids at seven locations on Thursday, Odisha Vigilance sleuths discovered two multi-story buildings, one flat, eleven plots, bank and insurance deposits worth Rs 95 lakh, and another Rs.1.22 lakh in cash in connection with alleged disproportionate assets accumulated by Assistant Engineer (R & B) Division-II, Balasore, Ajay Kumar Senapati.

Bhubaneswar: During raids at seven locations on Thursday, Odisha Vigilance sleuths discovered two multi-story buildings, one flat, eleven plots, bank and insurance deposits worth Rs 95 lakh, and another Rs.1.22 lakh in cash in connection with alleged disproportionate assets accumulated by Assistant Engineer (R & B) Division-II, Balasore, Ajay Kumar Senapati.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted in seven locations in the districts of Puri, Balasore, and Khurda:
1. Residential house of Senapati at Madanmohan Lane, Damodar Road, Harichandisahi, Puri.
2. Flat No. 2063 on the 2nd floor of Ananya Palm Beach, Puri,
3. The government residential quarter of Senapati in Balasore.
4. His office room at Executive Engineer (R & B) Division-II, Balasore
5. Double-storey building at Kulakandhei Balugaon, Khurda.
6. Parental house at Bhagabati Sahi, Banpur, Khurda.
7. House of a relative at Tangi, Khurda.
Assets Unearthed
1. A triple-storey building at Harachandi Sahi, Puri
2. One double-storey building at Kulakundhei, Chilika, Khurda
3. One 1-BHK Flat on 2nd floor of Ananya Palm Beach, Puri
4. 11 Plots in and around Bhubaneswar, Puri & Chilika
5. Rs.1,22,500 in cash
6. Bank, Postal and Insurance deposits worth Rs.95 lakh.
7. 1 four-wheeler (TATA Nexon XZ).
8. 3 two-wheelers.
The above buildings/flats/plots are being measured and valued/assessed by the Vigilance Technical Wing, according to an official release, with additional searches underway.
